What are Korean mask packs?

Korean mask packs are wash-off masks that are applied onto the skin as part of your Korean skin care routine. They come in the form of thick, viscous cream or gel that can be spread evenly over the skin using a mask brush or your hands, and left on before they are peeled off or washed away. Unlike Korean mask sheet, lip and eye mask or hand and foot mask that does not require rinsing after they are being used, most Korean mask packs will need to be rinsed away from the face after they have been applied and left for a sufficient amount of time. The duration in which they can be left on the skin varies between 20 minutes to overnight depending on the formulation.
