What is Spot Care?

Korean spot care or spot treatments are acne-fighting skincare products that work by directly targeting troubled spots. These skincare products often go by other names such as pimple creams, treatment or gel. Nonetheless, the main function of spot cream is to reduce swelling, inflammation and redness by clarifying pores and eliminating acne-causing bacteria. Commonly found ingredients in pimple cream include tea tree, witch hazel, chemical exfoliators and salicylic acid- that work by healing, soothing and repairing damaged skin, improving the appearance of red and inflamed spots, as well as prevent scarring and dark spots.
